EUCHRE AND DANCE GATHERING AT PAHAUTEA. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a fair attendance at the euchre party and dance held in the Pahautea Hall on Saturday night. The prizewinners at euchre were: —Ladies: Mrs Bargh, 1; Miss Cade, 2. Men: Mr Enoka, 1; Mr Corlet, 2. Aggregate: Ladies, Mrs Bargh 1, Miss M. Juno 2; men, Mr Cade 1, Mr Bentley 2. Lady Galway Fund. Four boxes of Clothing were packed and forwarded yesterday from Featherston to the Lady Galway patriotic headquarters in Wellington. Personal Items. Aircraftsman V. Bargh, Blenheim, was a weekend visitor to his home in Pahautea. Miss Joyce Hatton, who had been home for the school holidays, returned to Wellington yesterday.
