TURKISH CITIZENS ARRESTED IN BERLIN. TAKEN HANDCUFFED TO POLICE HEADQUARTERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, September 1. “The Times” says four Turkish citizens, including the Berlin correspondent of several Turkish newspapers, were arrested in Berlin and taken handcuffed to police headquarters. This is a reprisal for the recent arrest at Istanbul of a German bookseller, who allegedly was taken handcuffed with a negro to a police station and charged with selling copies of the “Volkiseher Beobachter” containing anti-Turkish cartoons.
