AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION

DISTRICT AGENCY ESTABLISHED IN MASTERTON. FACILITIES FOR MEMBERS. The Wairarapa Automobile Association has opened a district agency in Masterton. An airy suite has been acquired in the State Theatre Buildings and contains a club room for members, besides office accommodation. A lounge has been tastefully furnished in pastel shadings for the use of members, and contains writing facilities, comfortable arm chairs and tables. A handsome electric fire provides the heating. A fine view of the Tararua Ranges is to be seen from the windows. The office and rooms are open for the, use of members from the hours of 9.30 ft. a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week, 9.30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. The sj rooms are of particular convenience to members of the association, in that there is a large car parking area opposite. Afternoon tea will be available at a nominal charge, and facilities are available for playing bridge, etc. No charge is made for the use of the lounge. Mr A. T. P. Hubbard, who has been appointed district agent, will be able to assist visitors by way of his extensive knowledge of the district, and its many beauty spots. It is hoped by the association that members will make full use of the facilities at their disposal.
