The fine effort made by the primary schools in connection with the Paddy’s Market is acknowledged. The Wairarapa College has sent the Society parcels of warm children's garments and quilts made with peggy squares. Solway College has forwarded a large parcel of warm nightdresses for babies and also for larger children, and from St. Matthew's have been sent warm knitted woollies for babies. The material for all these garments has been supplied by the children 'memselves and they have also done all the making up. The Red Cross Society feels that the splendid work being carried out by the school children is worthy of warm commendation.
