Extensive Field Covered INLAND TARGETS AND COASTAL SHIPPING ENEMY LOSSES OVER BRITAIN An Air Ministry commnnioiie states that the R.A.F. on Thursday carried out daylight attacks on enemy-occupied aerodromes in Holland and on convoys and other shipping along the Dutch coast. During the night, attacks were made on Krupps works, oil refineries and plants, power stations, various military objectives in the Ruhr, goods yards and a number 01. enemy aerodromes in Germany, Holland, Belgium and France. From the day and night operations, three British machines did not return.

Up to 7.30 p.m. yesterday, 42 enemy aircraft had been shot down during the day in attacks on Britain. Ten R.A.F. machines were lost, but the pilots of four are safe.
