CHILD KILLED
RUN OVER BY VAN TRAGEDY AT PUNIHO. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, August 29. Jennifer Bell, aged two, was killed almost instantly today when a push chair in which she was seated was run over by a delivery van outside a store in Puniho (19 miles south west of New Plymouth). The child, a daughter of Mr and Mps R. W. Bell, Puniho, was left sitting close to the van by an older child. When the driver returned to the vehicle he did not see the pushchair, and drove over it.
