BACK FROM CAMP
TERRITORIAL OFFICERS AND N.C.O's. FURTHER TRAINING IN VIEW. Officers and n.c.o’s. of the First Hawke’s Bay Regiment returned home today after three months' course at Tauherenikau. Most of them will proceed to Trentham and to the Winter Show Buildings in Wellington next month to undergo a further course in tactics and machine-gun training, though sufficient trained instructors will remain in Masterton to handle Territorial parades in September, when two parades will be held every week from 7 to 10 p.m. and a full day parade ever# Sunday. The first night parade will be next Monday. All members of the Hawke’s Bay Regiment will leave for three months’ training on October 1. The first two months will be spent at Wanganui and December at Waiouru.
Under the command of Captain A. W. Reynolds. 26 men from the Masterton area marched through Queen Street this morning. The men made a particularly impressive showing and many citizens commented in terms of the highest praise on their fine bearing.
