BRIGADIER=GENERAL HART

COMMISSION IN BRITISH ARMY. ATTACHED TO MIDDLE EAST COMMAND. Word has been received in Masterton that Brigadier-General Sir Herbert Hart, formerly of Masterton, who has been acting as War Graves Commissioner with headquarters at Palestine, has received a commission in the British Forces with the rank of Brigadier, which replaces the old rank of Brigadier General, and is attached to the Middle East Command. Sir Herbert Hart, who is a veteran of the South African and Great Wars, writing on August 4, reported himself as fit and well.
