KOPUARANGA
SOCIAL CLUB’S DANCE
AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS.
(“Times-Age” Special.)
Visitors from Masterton and the surrounding districts swelled the attendance at an enjoyable dance held in the Kopuaranga Hall last night by the Kopuaranga Social Club. ’ The capacity of the hall was severely taxed. The floor was in splendid order and this added in no small degree to the enjoyment of the dances. The music was supplied by Mr Jack West, extras being played by Mr E. Wehikore. The duties of M.’sC. were carried out by Messrs Southey and B. Fenemore.
A Monte Carlo waltz competition was won by Miss J. Lee and Mr A. Leiideman. Supper was served by a combined committee, assisted by many willing helpers. The singing of Auld Lang Syne and the National Anthem brought a pleasant gathering to a close. I" is proposed to hold similar dances every fortnight.
