ADVENTUROUS FLIGHT

IN BOMBING RAID ON ITALY.

One of the pilots engaged in bombing the Marielli factory, near Milan, arrived over his target after an adventurous crossing of the Alps. His oxygen supply partially failed at a height of three miles and he flew into a great cloud of smoke, 6.000 feet over the factory, but attacked the west side of the works, causing fires.
