MORE RAID ALARMS ENTERTAINMENTS PROCEED NORMALLY. MIDLANDS AND WALES VISITED BY BOMBERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.55 p.m.) LONDON. August 27. Immediately a warning sounded, anti-aircraft defences went into action. The brilliant bomb flashes, which were beyond earshot from the central area, extended in semicircles. Theatre and cinema audiences again took the warning calmly and most of the shows went on normally, no patrons leaving for the shelters. Many Londoners were much more adequately prepared for a night away from their homes.
Three towns in Wales, two in southwest England, five in south-east England ancl six in the Midlands report that raiders came over.
