AWARDED THE D.S.O.
DESTROYER OF EIGHTEEN NAZI PLANES. AND POSSIBLY ANOTHER FIVE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.0 a.m.) LONDON, August 27. The D.S.O. has been awarded to Squadron-Leader M. Crossley, of Warwickshire. who has destroyed eighteen enemy planes, and possibly another five, and who won the D.F.C., for gallantry, in June.
