CHURCH SERVICES

The services at Knox Church, and at Tinul and Langdale tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. John Davie. The Bible Class group will be responsible for the service at Kaituna.

The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow, at 8 a.m., and at Kuripuni and Upper Plain at 9 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both in the morning and evening at St. Matthew’s Church. The Rev. T. V. Pearson will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni, and the service at the Public Hospital at 4 p.m. The services of the Baptist Fellowship, to be held on Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Y.M.C.A. Hall, will be conducted by the Rev. L. A. North, of the Vivian Street Church. Wellington. Mr North is well known for his< broadcast addresses and for his work as the late secretary of the Baptist Union. There will be no Sunday school on account of the school holidays.

A special series of evangelistic services, to be conducted by Major Armstrong at the Salvation Army Hall, will commence tonight, and will continue throughout the coming week. Major Armstrong will deliver timely m'essages at each service tomorrow and throughout the week. The services at the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject at the morning service will be “The Real Concern of the Christian Life,” and at the evening service, "What Is Your Life?” Mr C. H. Skuse will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. The church services at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be taken by the Rev. D. McNeur at 11 a.m., and by the Rev. R. Dickie at 7 p.m. Services will also be held at Kaiparoro (1.30 p.m.). Eketahuna <3 p.m.). and Alfredton (7 p.m.).
