POLISH STATE
NO RE-ESTABLISHMENT ACCORDING TO GERMAN GOVERNOR. PRESENT FRONTIER FINAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, August 23. The German Governor in Poland, Herr Frank, in a speech at Cracow, said Germany would never allow the re-establishment of the Polish State. "The present frontier defining the, spheres of influence of Germany and the Soviet is final,” he said. Herr Frank denied rumours that Germany intended to cede Polish territory to Russia.
Thirty thousand Germans are reported to be installed in occupied Poland to assure German influence.
