NINE KILLED
DISASTER TO AMERICAN BOMBER. BOMB CARGO EXPLODES IN THUNDERSTORM. (Received This Day, 9.0 a.m.) DENVER (Colorado). August 23. Two officers and seven men were killed, when an army bomber, carrying fifteen bombs, exploded in a heavy thunderstorm near Watkins.
