An announcement that the Government had decided that there were to be no wet canteens in territorial camps was made by the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, in an interview last night. Mr Fraser said the question had been looked at. from every point of view, and that arguments for and against the introduction of wet canteens in territorial camps had been carefully considered. The fact that so many younger men would be in territorial camps had weighed strongly with the Government in reaching its decision.
