MOASCAR CUP. FINAL WON BY PALMERSTON NORTH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., August 19. By beating St Patrick's College (Silverstream), 6-3, in the final, Palmerston North Boys’ High School won the Moascar Cup when the annual quadrangular Rugby tournament concluded today. The match was played on the Palmerston North showgrounds in good weather. For the winners Ponanga scored a spectacular try and Donald kicked a penalty goal. For St Patrick's Ransfield scored a penalty goal. Mr C. Eglinton was the referee.

The cup was presented at the conclusion of the game by the Mayor of Palmerston North. Mr Mansford. A match between Saturday’s losers, Te Ante College and Mt Albert Grammar School, resulted in a win for Te Ante by 24 points to 14.

TOURNEY AT NELSON. WON BY LOCAL FIFTEEN. NELSON. August' 19. Nelson won the intercollegiate Rugby tournament, beating Wanganui 7-0 in the final. The wooden spoon went to Christ's College who were defeated by Wellington, 12-5.
