GREYTOWN
R.S.A. SOCIAL GATHERING AT MORISON'S BUSH. ("Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance at the Morison’s Bush'Hall last evening when the Greytown Returned Soldiers held a euchre party and dance. Mrs E. Evans and Mr G. Duff won the euchre prizes and Mr S. Wilson and Miss N. Jackson the Monte Carlo competition. The music for the dancing was supplied by Drysdales Orchestra and Mrs H. G. Carter and Mr A. Carter. Extras were played by Mr V. Boyd and Mr Ray Ipgley. The chairman of the branch, Mr J. W. Herod, thanked all those who had assisted in making the evening such a success.
The Diggers competition was won by Mr Stephens of the Greytown Hospital. Mr T. Drysdale gave an exhibition of Highland dancing. Among those present were the Mayor and Mayoress of Greytown, Mr and Mrs A. W. Horton, Miss Higginson and a party of soldiers from Tauherenikau. GOLF SATURDAY'S ARRANGEMENT. .
