RUGBY FOOTBALL COWAN CUP GAME. (“Times-Age” Special.) The result of the final game for the Cowan Cup played between Hamua and Mangatainoka at Mangatainoka on Saturday was a win for Mangatainoka by 14 points to 6. For the first time in the history of Bush Rugby one team has won the three principal trophies seven-a-side tournament, senior championship and Cowan Cup—in one season, this being the honour achieved by Mangatainoka. For Mangatainoka Tait kicked a penalty goal and converted one try. Bicknell (2) and Hunt scored tries. For Hamua, Hansen and Woolland scored tries.
