RETURN FLIGHT OF CLARE FROM AMERICA. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 10. The British Overseas Airways flyingboat Clare, which arrived at the South Coast of England this afternoon from Montreal, has completed the round trip to New York, which began last Saturday. The flying time for the journey from Botwood to Foynes, a distance of 1875 nautical miles, was just over 12 hours According to agency messages, Captain Rogers, the skipper, said the trip had been uneventful. He brought with him messages from the mayor of New York to the Lord Mayor of London, as well as a consignment of New York newspapers and diplomatic mail. Of the six passengers carried by the Clare, four were Americans who have come to England to volunteer as ferry pilots.
