SALVATION ARMY
VISIT OF COMMISSIONER. There was a large attendance at the Salvation Army Hall on Saturday night when an address was given by Lieut. Commander Evan Smith. Commissioner of the Salvation Army in New Zealand. Commissioner Smith was aecompmiied by Mrs Smith, Major .1. Nelson. Divisional Commander, and Uaptain Harewood.
Tire Commissioner gave an inspiring address on present day problems and received a most attentive hearing. Mrs Major Mahallie led the gathering in prayer and Captain Harewoe.d rendered a solo.
