Ltd., report that a good yarding of sheen, cattle and pigs came forward at the Carterton sale yesterday and was offered to a large attendance All classes of stock sold well, and a total clearance was effected at the following prices:— Sheep:—Extra Prime fat hoggets. 30s. 325, 38s Gd io 40s; nrime fat owes. 30s 9d. 31s. 31s 4d. 31s Gd to 31s 9d: prime fat wethers. 365. to 40s: light fat wethers, to 31s 6d: fat maiden ewes, to 32s 6d; fat ewes. 27s to 295; woolly wether hoggets, to 19s lOd; b.f. hoggets, to 18s; ewe hoggets, to 23s 6d. Cattle: Choice three-year Jersey heifers, on drop, £ll ss. £l2 10s to £l3 10s; two-vear Jersey heifers, on drop, to £lO 10s; two-vear Jersey heifers. just calved, to £lO 15s: springing Jersev cows. £6 ss. £8 10s. £9. £9 10s, to £lO 10s; springing Ayrshire cows. £7, £9 10s. to £10; light fat heifers, to £6 6s; fat cows, £5 to £6 17s 6d; forward cows. £3 12s 6d to £4 16s; Store cows. £2 to £2 15s.
