THIRD ECHELON
TOMORROW’S ARRANGEMENTS. DINNER AND PUBLIC GATHERING. It is anticipated that there will be a large attendance of members of the Third Echelon and others at the dinner being held in their honour tomorrow night at the Empire Hotel by the Masterton District Patriotic Committee. The dinner will be followed by a public gathering in the Opera House at 7.30 o’clock. Special arrangements have been made with the local theatre managers to start the evening’s programmes at 8 o’clock instead of 7.45, so as to allow those attending at the Opera House time to proceed to the theatres if they so wish. The speakers at the Opera House will be the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, and Colonel J. H. Irving.
