TASMANIAN PROTEST. AGAINST IMPORTS FROM NEW ZEALAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) CANBERRA. August 6. A protest against the entry of New Zealand potatoes into Sydney was made by the Tasmanian Labour member, Mr Frost, in the House of Representatives today. Mr Frost asked the Minister of Commerce, Mr Cameron, whether he approved of the Commonwealth Prices Commissioner, asking the Tasmanian people to curtail their shipments of potatoes while New Zealand potatoes yere entering Australia. Mr Cameron replied that he understood the Tasmanians wanted to keep up the prices. Mr Frost: "For their's, not New Zealand potatoes.”
