INDOOR BASKETBALL
INTERHOUSE COMPETITION. DRAW FOR THURSDAY NIGHT. The following is the draw in the Interhouse Indoor Basketball games to be played in the Y.M.C.A. on Thursday night:— ’ Ladies’ A Grade. 8.30 p.m.: Possibles v Probables. Ladies' B Grade. 7 p.m.: Cathies v McKenzies. 7.15 p.m. State Kitchenette v Grahams. 7.50 p.m.: Hosiery v Garages. Men's Games. 7.30 p.m. Bouzaids v Reliance A. 8.10 p.m. W.F.C.A. v Reliance B. 8.45 p.m. Vesta Batteries v State Kitchenette. The committee is endeavouring to arrange representative games in the various divisions, and with this in view a Possibles v Probables match will be played in the ladies’ A grade. The ladies' B grade and men's divisions will play the last games in the championship this week. The game between Cathies and McKenzies should be very even as the former team has been playing improved basketball recently. The outstanding game of the evening should be between Reliance B and W.F.C.A. Reliance require to win this game in order to win the championship. POSSIBLES v PROBABLES. The following girls have been selected to play in the Possibles v Probables match in the Y.M.C.A. at 8.30 p.m. on Thursday:—Possibles. J. Gemmell. J. Palmer. P. Hanley. I. Palmer. G. Bacon. M. Eastwood. Probables. F. Beiliss, A. Keisenburg. I. Stevenson. M. Gadsby. C. Moylan, A. Burgess. Anyone unable to play is requested to ring Mr D. Costello, co. W.F.C.A. Spt.rts Department.
