THIRD ECHELON

DINNER ON SATURDAY NIGHT. ARRANGEMENTS BY PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE. Members of the Third Echelon on leave will be entertained in Masterton on Saturday by the Masterton District Patriotic Committee. A dinner will be held at the Empire Hotel, commencing at 6 p.m., followed by a public gathering at the Opera House at 8 o’clock. Officers and men who intend to be present at the dinner are requested to give their names to the Town Clerk, Mr G. T. O'Hara Smith, before 4.30 p.m. on Friday, so that the necessary catering arrangements may be made. TINUI GATHERING A dance will be tendered to the Castlepoint District members of the Third Echelon on Friday in the Tinui Hall.
