ANTI-ESPIONAGE CAMPAIGN IN U.S.A. « REPRESENTATIVES OF STATES TO MEET. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day. 1.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON. August 4. Messrs J. Edgar Hoover (head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation) and Robert Jackson have called a meeting of representatives of the forty-eight States on Monday and Tuesday to report on the anti-espionage campaign. They will read a message from President Roosevelt, who is expected to head a nation-wide drive. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has handled 16,885 cases since the war began and has surveyed 270 munition plants.
