The principal results of the racing nt Flemington were: — Australian Hurdle Race. 3m.: Kevastar, 9.7 (Maher), 1: North Cape, 10.3 (Abrahams). 2; Cheery Jack, 12.9 (Meenan), 3. Nine started, including King's Warden. Running to the front from the barrier rise. Kevastar led throughout. He gave a fine exhibition of jumping and speed, and won brilliantly by a length in Flemington course record time. Cheery Jack today found the burden too heavy and finished four lengths behind North Cape. Mamillius was fourth. Time, 5.27 :! . Moondah Plate: El Golea, 10.5 (Creighton), 1; Chatsbury, 8.7 (Ralph).] 2; Contact, 6.7 (Crossingham), 3. Sixteen. started. Neck; one length and a quarter. Time, 1.121.
