TIDAL WAVE
DISASTER ON THE COAST OF JAPAN. SCORES OF PEOPLE DEAD OR MISSING. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) TOKIO. August 2. The “Asahi Shimbun’s” correspondent at Sapporo says that scores of people are dead or missing as a result of a tidal wave which struck the western coast of Hokkaido. Fifteen hundred fishing boats were washed away.
