CONTROL OF FARMING
PROSECUTIONS IN BRITAIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 9.10 a.m.) LONDON. July 31. The Ministry of Agriculture states that since the outbreak of war to July 26 49 farmers have been prosecuted for disobeying orders to cultivate land. The fines totalled £ 1477.
