WOMEN’S AUXILIARY. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary of the Masterton Methodist Church was held in the Parsonage, Lincoln Road, the Rev. H. S. Kings, presiding over a good attendance of members. The annual report of the secretary (Miss E. Beale), the treasurer (Mrs A. J. Daysh) and the box organiser (Miss V. Jackson), were presented, the ladies concerned being congratulated in connection with their reports. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames J. Andrew and R. Jamieson. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mrs H. S. Kings; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. Cocker, F. G. Rutter and Miss M. Burton; secretary, Miss E. Beale; treasurer,’ Mrs A. J. Daysh; box organisers, Mesdames E. Martin, G. Whittaker and Miss V. Jackson, Mrs J. Andrew to act in the absence of Mrs E. Martin who is leaving Masterton for a short period; organists, Mesdames H. Speight and Hansen; stamp secretary, Mrs G. Blane; room convenor, Mrs J. Andrew; Birthday League secretary, Mrs R. Jamieson. Several functions for the ensuing year were arranged. A programme of monthly meetings is to be drawn up by the executive. A special vote of thanks was passed to Miss E. Beale for her work as secretary during the past year.
