SERVICE OF PRAYER

SESSIONS THIS AFTERNOON. The weekly service of prayer held in the Masterton Opera House this afternoon was largely attended. The service was conducted in two halfhourly periods. The Rev. R. S. Kings presided. In tHe first session Major Mahafile read the lesson, which was followed by an inspiring address delivered by the Rev. V. W. Joblin on the theme of loyalty, tenacity and courage. The Rev. T. V. Pearson led in prayer. The Rev. R. S. Kings read the lesson in the second period, and the Rev. David McNeur gave an address on spiritual values. The meeting was brought to a close with prayer by the Ven. Archdeacon E. J. Rich. Mrs Speight was the accompaniste.
