FORESTERS’ LODGE

COURT LOYAL ENTERPRISE. MEETING IN MASTERTON LAST NIGHT. The fortnightly meeting of Court Loyal Enterprise Ancient Order of Foresters was held last evening. The Chief Ranger. Bro S. V. Sharman, presided over a fair attendance. Bro L. H. Graham reported favourably on the sick members he had visited. Bro Sharman extended a hearty welcome to two visiting brethren. Bro H. M. Smith led in the Foresters’ fire. The visitors suitably replied. Bro C. A. Leigh reported on the euchre tournaments and indoor bowls competitions. Bro J. Barr reported on the annual meeting of the Hospital Association. Bro H. M. Smith presented the lodge I with a beautiful shield, his own hand work, for the indoor bowls pairs com-' petitions. The shield will certainly be j very much appreciated by the bowling enthusiasts. During the evening Bro S. V. Sharman called upon P.C.R. Bro G. Selby to present P.C.R. Bro R. Walker with a Past Chief's Rangers Jewel in recognition of his past services for Court Loyal Enterprise. Bro Walker suitably replied. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £l9 Ils 8d were passed for payment. At the close of business a pleasant time was spent at indoor bowls, concluding with the serving of supper.
