SUGAR PRODUCTION
BRITISH CORPORATION PROFIT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.5 p.m.) LONDON. July 29. The British Sugar Corporation produced half a million tons of white and raw beet sugar in the year ended March 31 from a crop which was a record in acreage yield, and in addition provided 300.000 tons of dried pulp and 48,000 tons of saleable molasses. The trading profit, was £722.14.3. compared with £383.312 last year.
