WAR COMMAND
ORGANISATION IN BRITAIN STANDING COMMITTEE SET UP. CONSIDERATION OF CHANGES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day 11.40 a.m.) RUGBY. July 29. The Secretary for War (Mr Anthony Eden) has set up a standing committee to consider the present administrative organisation and procedure of the War Office and military commands. The committee is to make recommendations with a view to introducing such changes in organisation and procedure as appear necessary, in order to ensure elasticity. It consists of three general officers and three business men. presided over by the Permanent Under-Secretary for War.
