OBITUARY

MRS J. W. HENDERSON. The death occurred yesterday at 46 Lincoln Road, Masterton. of Mrs Ellen Henderson, an old and highly respected resident of the Wairarapa, and widow of the late Mr J. W. Henderson, of Sea View. Langdale. The late Mrs Henderson was born in Karori, Wellington, in 1861. and lived the earlier part of her married life in the AkitioPongaroa district, later coming to the Wairarapa and residing at Langdale until retiring in 1926. Her husband predeceased her 22 years ago. Mrs Henderson leaves one son, one grandson and one brother, Mr Ted Mason, Carterton, as well as a wide ■ircle of relatives and friends. The late Mr R. J. Mason, prominent figure in the racing world, was a brother. The funeral took place this afternoon.
