CONSTABLE REARDON
PROMOTED TO SERGEANT. ON TRANSFER TO WELLINGTON. Constable C. H. Reardon, who has been stationed in Masterton for almost five years, has been promoted to sergeant and transferred to Wellington. For the greater part of his period of service in Mastertoil, Constable Reardon has been engaged in plainclothes inquiry work. He joined the police force in Wellington in 1924 and for two of the eleven years in which he was stationed there he was a member of the detective branch. Many friends throughout the district will join in heartily congratulating Constable Reardon on his promotion. At all times during his period of service in Masterton he has been known as a courteous and efficient officer and is one of the most popular members of the police force in the Wairarapa. Seregant Reardon expects to take up his new duties in the near future, possibly next week.
