BOMBING CONTINUES
IN SPITE OF BAD WEATHER R.A.F. OPERATIONS OVER ENEMY TERRITORY. MANY SUCCESSFUL ATTACKS. Heavy thunderstorms and severe icing conditions hampered the operations of the R.A.F. over Germany on Wednesday night, a Daventry broadcast states, but in spite of the weather, docks, aircraft factories and seaplane bases were attacked. All the British machines returned. The weather conditions were said to be the worst encountered in summer. Lighting struck one plane, temporarily blinded the crew, and shot the machine forward 600 feet.
