LABOUR PARTY

WOMEN’S BRANCH. I MEETING IN MASTERTON. The monthly meeting of the Women’s branch of the Masterton Labour Party was held in the Ladies’ Rest Room. The president (Mrs J. Robertson) was in the chair. Two new members were enrolled. A large number of parcels were received for refugees. It was reported that members were busy collecting and making goods suitable for the shop day which is to be held about the end of September. A discussion on food value took place and provided much useful information.
