DANCE & CARD TOURNEY
' MASTERTON HIBERNIAN SOCIETY GATHERING. ' There was a good attendance at St; 1 Pat: r ck’s Hall, Queen Street, last night ■ for the fortnightly dance and euchre ' tournament held under the auspices of 1 the Masterton Hibernian Society. Dancing was enjoyed to excellent music supplied by J. Barnes’s Rhythm Boys' Dance Band. Extras were played by Miss J. Gleeson and Miss K. Gleeson. A Monte Carlo coinpetition was won by Miss J. Bannister and Mr M. Doyle. Mr J. F. McDonald acted as M.C. The winners in the card tournament were: —Ladies: Mrs W. McArley. 1: consolation, Mrs Jensen. Men: Mr J Delaney; consolation, Mr D. Robinson. '
