LATE RATES MAINTAINED. There was spirited competition for a good yarding of stock at the Masterton sale today. Prices realised were well up to late rates and up to the time of going to press indications were for a good sale. The following are some of the realisations:— Sheep: Fat wethers. 27s 6d, 30s; prime heavy wethers, 335, 325. 25s 9d; piime empty Corriedale ewes 23s 6d to 24s 6d; good Southdown ewes 23s 6d, 26s id.
