YALCA SECRETARY

TRANSFERRED TO WELLINGTON. Mr D. McKee Wright who has been General Secretary of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. for the past 18 months has been released by the directors to take up special work at Rongotai under the National office of the Y.M.C.A. Since Mr Wright took over the Masterton Y.M.C.A., his keen organising ability has been put to the test on several occasions. All departments of the Y.M.C.A. are i in healthy condition today and bear \ > testimony to the enthusiasm and work v put in by Mr Wright during his term as Secretary. Fortunately for the board, a Masterton man with the necessary qualifications for the work was immediately available, and Mr C. W. Gaze has now been appointed to the position. Mr Gaze is no stranger to Y.M.C.A. activities. and it is felt with confidence that the immediate future of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. will be safe under his direction. OPTIMIST CLUB.
