SOVIET NOT CONSULTED. (Received This Day. 9 a.m.) MOSCOW. July 19. The Tass Agency has been authorised to say Hint the British Government did not consult the Soviet Government concerning the Anglo-Japanese agreement regarding the Burma Road, but merely informed M. Maisky of its decision to conclude an agreement. The statement adds that Britain is notobliged to consult the Soviet in the present Anglo-Soviet relations.
