AGED MAN’S DEATH

FOUND HOLDING GAS TUBE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. James Henry Scott, aged 76. was found dead yesterday sitting in an armchair in Ihc dining room of his home, where he had lived alone. He was holding a gas tube near his face and it was turned full on. Mr Scott, who had been engaged in the bakery and confectionery trade in Blenheim for a period of 50 years, was last seen alive at midday on Saturday. The tragedy apparently occurred on Saturday night, as the electric light was still on when a neighbour, taking in a meal, made the discovery of his death.
