ENEMY FIGHTER
DESTRUCTION CONFIRMED. SEVENTH IN ENGAGEMENT IN STRAITS OF DOVER. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.20 p.m.) RUGBY, July 14. An Air Ministry communique states that it is now confirmed that a second enemy fighter was shot down on Sunday evening in an engagement in the Straits of Dover. This is the seventh enemy aircraft destroyed in this engagement.
