WOMEN’S INSTITUTE COMPETITION WINNERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Te Ore Ore Women’s Institute held its monthly meeting at the residence of Mrs J. McLachlan where a very pleasant time was spent. Mrs Foiihy presided over the meeting. It was decided to hold a sewing bee at the residence of Mrs Lauchlan on Tuesday. On the motion of Mrs Fouhy seconded by Mrs Brunton. Mrs Takai e Haeata was nominated as a new member. Supper was served by the hostesses. Mcsdames West. Nini and McDonald. The competitions resulted as follows: —Flowers. Miss Jaques I. Mrs McLauchlan 2, Miss McDonald 3: shortbread, Mrs West 1. Mrs McLauchlan 2 Mrs McDonald 3; scarves. Mrs Albert 1; Miss Nini 2; Mrs McLauchlan 3; mittens, Mrs McLauchlan 1; Mrs McDonald 2; Mrs Brunton 3: game, Mrs Dagg 1: Mrs McLauchlan 2; Mrs McDonald 3.
