ALLEGED WHOLESALE DESTRUCTION. SHIPS AND SHORE BASES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) BERLIN, July 10. A communique says a submarine reports sinking 35,187 tons of merchant' shipping. Planes sank a patrol-boat and 26,000 tons of merchant shipping off the British coast. Ten more merchantmen were seriously damaged or set on fire. Bombs hits oil tanks at airbases at Pembroke and Ipswich and munition works at Norwich, Leeds, Swansea and Tilbury.
