DRAW FOR SATURDAY. The following is the Wairarapa Basketball Association’s competitions for Saturday: — A Grade. Court 1: At 3 p.m., College v. Carterton; referee, M. Greenlees. 4 p.m.. lona v. Carterton; referee, B. Renner. Court 2: At 3 p.m.. Stars v. Collegians; referee, P. Hanley. 4 p.m., Stars v. College: referee, M. McLaren. B Grade. Court 1- At 2.15 p.m., Stars C v. Greytown: referee, I. Shoosmith. 3 I p.m., College B v. Carterton B; referee. M. Eastwood. Court 2: At 2 p.m., Stars B v. lona B; referee, E. McLaren. 2.30 p.m., College B v. Grey town; referee, M. Gadsby. 3.30 p.m.. Collegians B v. Carterton B; referee. D. Dagg. Court 3: At 2.30 p.m., Belvedere v. lona B; referee, M. Eastwood. 3 p.m., Greytown Hospital v. Collegians B; referee, J. Russell. 4 p.m., Belvedere v. Greytown; referee, B. Linton. At Hospital: At 2.45 p.m., Stars B v. Masterton Hospital. 3.15 p.m., Stars C v. Masterton Hospital; referee, C. Ross. At 4.30 p.m.: Representative trials. All girls who have been selected are requested to remain to practice. Owing to the number of wet Saturdays, and in order'to get through the rounds before the season closes, it has been decided that all teams in the B grade play two matches each Saturday, and teams in the A grade play two matches where necessary. All matches from now on will be of half-hour spells with no rest. Where possible the secretary has arranged for teams not to play two matches on end, but in some cases this is found impossible. All matches must start promptly on Saturday in order to get through the games.
