The Associated Press of Great Britain’s Rome correspondent says Signor Gayda reports that the Italian-German agreement is for a three-fold attack on Britain, consisting of a blockade, breaking of Empire contacts and defeating Britain "at home, in Imperial territories and at sea.” Each partner has been assigned tasks for this purpose, Italy’s being to strike in Egypt from Cyreniica at British-Egyptian Sudan from East Africa, at Kenya, at British Somaliland, also to harass British shipping in the Atlantic, the Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean and to immobilise a large part of Britain’s sea-power in the Mediterranean.
