ROLLS ROYCE ENGINES
PACKARD COMPANY REJECTS CONTRACT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) DETROIT. July 9. The Packard Corporation rejected a proposed contract !o construct 3000 Rolls Royce aeroplane motors for the United States and 6000 for Britain. A statement was issued, saying: "The Packard Corporation is anxious to be of public service and is hopeful that a satisfactory agreement can be reached. but many matters require further study.”
